A train hurtles through the American night, bearing a horrifying cargo: a paralytic nerve gas which immobilized the unsuspecting, rendering them helpless...in their beds...in their cars...even at the controls of the train.

The train rushes headlong toward San Francisco, trailing death and paralysis in its path. One woman, alone in an isolated mountain phone booth, comes to the shattering conclusion that the fate of the city lies in her hands. Bu the noxious fumes are overtaking her, making those hands useless...
